Digital prototyping is a buzzword being thrown around a lot lately. Do you know what it is? Do you know what it could mean to your company in terms of productivity, cost savings, and competitive advantage? New England CAD Technologies will team with MAMe to offer a seminar covering the topic in full. Digital Prototyping enables customers to design, visualize, and simulate their products and processes digitally. More product knowledge can be shared downstream, which means, for example, that engineering can simulate the behavior of the product under the operating conditions that it is actually going to experience. Manufacturing doesn’t have to wait until a physical prototype is constructed to start evaluating how to most efficiently manufacture the product, providing more opportunities to innovate and test “what-if” scenarios earlier in the cycle. Your documentation department doesn’t need to wait till the final design to start generating product documentation.
Digital prototyping now goes hand-in-hand with Product Life Management (PLM). Your company can assure its customers that it has produced the greenest widget possible.

New England CAD Technologies markets Autodesk® products so we will focus on Inventor®, the powerful, 3D modeling tool that is Autodesk’s elegant solution to digital prototyping. The seminar will demonstrate a sample workflow utilizing Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Inventor Publisher.
